ROCKSTAR ADVENTURES PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & TRANSFER TERMS

By submitting payment, Guest acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

•⁠  ⁠15% Deposit due at time of registration.
•⁠  ⁠$500 per person of the deposit is non-refundable upon payment.
•⁠  ⁠30% First Installment due February 1, 2027.
•⁠  ⁠30% Second Installment due August 1, 2027.
•⁠  ⁠Final Payment due February 1, 2028.

NON-REFUNDABLE DATE

•⁠  ⁠Effective August 1, 2027, all payments made are 100% non-refundable.
•⁠  ⁠No refunds will be issued for any reason after August 1, 2027.

Failure to Make Payment

•⁠  ⁠Failure to make any scheduled payment by its due date may result in automatic cancellation.
•⁠  ⁠All applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

PAYMENT METHODS

•⁠  ⁠Credit Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
•⁠  ⁠Charges will appear as “Preferred Travel Partners.”
•⁠  ⁠Guests may pay the full balance on or before February 1, 2027 via Zelle, Venmo or check and receive a 5% reduction on the balance.
•⁠  ⁠The 5% reduction applies only to full cabin balance paid by Zelle, Venmo or check on or before February 1, 2027.
•⁠  ⁠Partial payments do not qualify.
•⁠  ⁠Discount does not apply to prior payments already made.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to the Guest’s travel advisor. Cancellation is effective on the date written notice is received.

Cancellation Penalties

•⁠  ⁠After deposit: $500 per person non-refundable.
•⁠  ⁠August 1, 2027 and thereafter: 100% of all payments non-refundable.

•⁠  ⁠Cancellation deadlines apply regardless of booking date.
•⁠  ⁠No refunds will be issued for unused services, late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.

TRANSFER POLICY

Transfers are not a right and may be granted solely at Rockstar Adventures’ discretion.

Eligibility

•⁠  ⁠Transfer requests must be submitted in writing.
•⁠  ⁠Transfers must be requested prior to August 1, 2027.

Conditions

•⁠  ⁠Transfers apply only to the movement of funds to another Rockstar Adventures departure.
•⁠  ⁠Reservations may not be transferred to another person.
•⁠  ⁠Name changes are only permitted if allowed by the cruise line and approved in writing.
•⁠  ⁠Transfers are subject to availability and current pricing at time of rebooking.
•⁠  ⁠Any price increase must be paid by Guest.
•⁠  ⁠Transferred funds remain non-refundable.
•⁠  ⁠If the new reservation is cancelled, all transferred funds are forfeited.
•⁠  ⁠Transfers are permitted one time only.
•⁠  ⁠Rockstar Adventures reserves the absolute right to approve or deny any transfer request for any reason.

EXCEPTION CLAUSE

Rockstar Adventures may consider written requests for exception due to extraordinary circumstances. Approval, if granted, is solely at our discretion and does not create precedent for future requests.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, baggage, and travel delays.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BOOK

This is an expedition voyage to one of the world's most remote destinations. Unlike traditional cruises, expedition travel is dependent upon weather, sea conditions, ice, wildlife, and operational considerations. Flexibility and a spirit of adventure are essential.

Itinerary Flexibility

All ports, landings, Zodiac excursions, wildlife sightings, sailing routes, and daily activities are subject to change without notice due to weather, ice conditions, government regulations, operational requirements, or the Captain's sole discretion. No specific landing, excursion, wildlife encounter, or destination can be guaranteed.

Expedition Experience

The Captain and Expedition Leader will make all decisions with guest safety as the highest priority. Changes to the published itinerary do not constitute a cancellation of the voyage and are not grounds for refunds, credits, or compensation.

Charter Flights

Roundtrip charter flights between Keflavík (KEF) and Greenland are included as part of this expedition. Flight schedules, aircraft type, routing, and departure times are subject to change. Delays or schedule adjustments may occur due to weather or operational requirements.

Physical Requirements

This voyage includes walking on uneven terrain, embarking and disembarking Zodiac boats, climbing stairs, and navigating potentially slippery surfaces. Guests should carefully consider their physical abilities before booking. Certain shore excursions may not be suitable for individuals with limited mobility.

Medical Facilities

Greenland is an extremely remote destination with limited medical facilities. Emergency medical evacuation may be delayed by weather or location. Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for travel.

Expedition Risks

By booking this expedition, guests acknowledge that travel to remote polar regions involves risks beyond those associated with conventional travel, including severe weather, changing sea conditions, limited infrastructure, and unforeseen operational changes.

While we carefully select our travel partners, we are not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, mechanical issues, schedule changes, weather-related disruptions, or other events beyond our control.
